Make decent income from Google Maps or Google my Business
So, you want to pocket 300 bucks? This is such an inspirational idea I have quite used for a few countable years. I’m sure you will like it as well because it’s no click-bait. I learned this in later 2018– two years down the road. As a newbie in the “make-money-online” niche, I spent most of my time particularly– attending online webinars and taking more lessons from my favorite YouTube instructors. Yes, I always had a feeling inside me that making money online is the best thing I can ever do for the rest of my life. Most of the things I tried to do weren’t promising just because I didn’t have basic requirements. That feeling eventually came true for the first time when I had my eyes on “ How To Make $100 a Day Online From Google (Never Seen Before)” This is a popular video with 1.6 million views from two years ago. When I first landed on it, it was also my first time to watch a video from Jay Brown and that experience was enough to earn me huge excitement. In that video, I learned how one could simply make money online using Google Maps. It’s reasonably something that inspires awe and admiration so, I prepared and went on to try it.
Does Google Maps Pay?| Does it?
If you were interested in making money online but haven’t yet figured the way through, this must be a critically thought question.
You definitely would have asked yourself it. Well, Google pays and rewards users in many different ways.
Apart from Google AdSense, I’m sure there is no other way through which Google pays established content creators.
You can however make money from its other services like Google maps. This is only a creative idea.
Many people don’t know about it though or even if they know, they probably might be doing it at a free cost.
The idea is Google Maps but there is one other
It’s very simple but as I said, it’s all from a creative mind. Jay Brown showed me how to make money by adding businesses to Google Maps to make them visible and reachable online. At first, I wasn’t onto it. I thought I would be regarded as naughty to charge for such a service. My first client was my Uncle— the one I work with. He’s a businessman dealing in general merchandise. I got his business online because, the people from around the area, could accidentally google it and funds its location. Even those from afar. That was amazing and within the second year, we saw a difference in consumer numbers. The few pictures that I posted had about 3000–5000 views on average. Of course, I couldn’t charge him anything how could I even think of that?
I looked further to making this idea a real business. Jay Brown was wise I’m thankful to him. I also give credit for his amazing YouTube content it’s where I learned this idea from. He also inspired me to start a YouTube channel of my own. I went on to have one way before I learned marketing. Later on, I realized that growing a channel, especially around the “make- money- online niche” is hectic and harder– also, time-consuming. You needed to have this noted. Lately, when I compare it to other channels that I am currently managing, on other niches, they are doing very well especially the entertainment channels so, I dropped it but all in all, Jay Brown is a great man. The channel that I dropped became one of my failures but that wasn’t the end because I had the alternatives.
Okay, so, with the impression I got after seeing my Uncle’s business insights grow, I asked him for a favor. At first, looked me in the face, asked me “what can I favor you with?”
I simply requested something very little. I had wanted him to make a testimonial of my work by telling it to his friends– fellow businessmen so I could begin with them as my clients.
And he was good at accepting my request though he was a little bit worried about the outcome- increased competition. Again, I’m grateful because he made it and did a great job for me.
These days, I even reach out to the big businesses men and discuss with them about their business discoverability especially those that are newly established.
Now, those are my first target clients because I want to put them on the map, they pay me to do that they also get discovered. Do you get the point?
The other is “Google my business.”
Now, a few years ago, Google launched the ‘Google My Business” service which enables businesses to have mini/ micro websites to get them listed in Google.
This is an advanced feature that has so far take shape and dozens of businesses are standing upon it.
What is interesting about this is that it integrates your business with its location on Google maps and everything about it is free.
This operates in a way that site visitors from the listing can navigate to your business’s location through the phone or laptop anytime.
Google my business has blogger-like features so, it allows managers to write, post pictures and also give site visitors to leave reviews and ratings.
This is where I make more money creating Google listings for different types of businesses.
At least I gather about one or two clients a week, and my charge keeps alternating depending on the business type.
I have a long list of comrades who do the same, but they do it for free. They take it as a hobby and maybe feel they should get recognized while for me, I made it a business. Some of them have posted more than 5000 pictures to google, they have ranks and badges from good but all that is useless. Google is only using exploiting its efforts because it invests a lot of money in Google Maps. One thing makes me different from them. Photography skills- I take and post better pictures than them and I make my work professional because it’s my business. This is a reason why I’m always on the count.
For those who don’t feel they should have a website or rather find it difficult to manage, a Google listing is the easiest way to go. With this, you get your business right to the front pages of Google. Having a Google listing is like having a website that is integrated with Google.com and you know what it means. You’re only smelling google’s huge traffic. I’m looking to extremely extend my services to the bigger cities of my country but I could also do it internationally by attaining a great and detailed portfolio. Was that inspiring?
